Stretch and sweep - score of 7?

Hi all!

Pg with 1st baby, was due yesterday. I had a stretch and sweep which was fine, MW said i was 1cm dilated and gave me a score of 7?

Just wondering if anyone knows if this is classed as a 'good' score so labour maybe imminent or if I still got a long way to go (hopefully not! Back pressure is outrageous!!)

This morning I had a tiny bit of blood on my panty liner more like little red/brown spots/bits along with some discharge, does this sound like my mucus plug going??

Sorry for all the questions, first timer and not really knowing what I'm doing! 🤣

Thanks in advance 😊

Bishops score by the sounds of it. 8 or above is meant to suggest impending labour.

Sounds like things are happening for you though and baby may come soon.

I think my bishop score was a 6, maybe a 5, at 39+6 on my first sweep, on my 2nd sweep at 40+5 it was still the same but i went into labour that night and DS was born 40+7. So youre defo near the end!
