Stressing out about birth of baby no 2

Looking for a bit of advise hopefully to settle my stressed out head. I had my first baby 3 years ago he was born 37+2 waters broke at 37 I was having contractions but not regular so they linked me up to petocin to get him here by the time it was time to push I was exhausted and had to have an appesiotomy and the ventouse cap to get him out 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I’m now 36+6 I was taken in on Tuesday due to period like cramps along with painless contractions and the midwife like nothing said we will probably see you next week what does this even mean 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I knew I wasn’t in labour but with covid my community midwife wanted me checked they did an internal and took swabs to ensure I wasn’t in labour. I’m now on day 5 of these period like cramps and for 2 days now there’s lower back pain I actually don’t know how long I can go on like this a lot of discharge (sorry for too much info) and I feel like I’m back at the start with feeling sick 🤢 the baby dropped about 2 weeks ago so I’ve had relief from the months of heartburn. I’ve had problems with my pelvis from 20 weeks can hardly walk if I sit down so I just keep moving so I don’t know if there’s pressure there that’s changed because it’s been like that for so long. Has anyone else experienced this. If my first pregnancy was like this I would have never went again it’s been absolute torture. So the question is after my big complaining post can anybody settle my fears of all this happening again next week. P.s I only have one kidney they said this was a factor of my 37week appearance last time and I had no problems with that pregnancy with this one I’ve had 2 kidney infections which required antibiotics.
