Who can I address letter of thanks to?

I gave birth two months ago and would like to send a letter of thanks to my hospital for the care I received during a very stressful and emotional time, I believe it made the difference in not developing PND.

Has too much time passed? If not, where do I address the letter to? I would like to particularly mention the specialist midwife, the doctor who carried out my c section and the anaesthetist, as well as all of the other staff involved in general.

Posting to find out too - except mine was two years ago! I never got around to it but would like to thank them.

Address it to delivery suite or labour ward and then google the address of the hospital you delivered at. So for example -

Labour ward (Ward 54)
Bradford Royal Infirmary
Bradford Lane
Bradford
Postcode

Lovely idea OP. I made up the ward number and address for Bradford by the way (if it isn’t obvious), I have no idea what they call their labour ward or what the ward number is!

Send it to PALS. People think they are only for complaints but they are for positive feedback too. That way it will be passed onto the staff in question but also has a formal record which is good for them too.

I used PALS when I had a miscarriage and the care was fantastic. I sent them general praise and singled out one nurse in A&E who was just wonderful.
