Twins - how early did you deliver/ when did you stop working?

Hiya,
I'm pregnant with twins and had laser surgery just over a week ago due to their TTTS. I've heard that preterm delivery is quite common after laser surgery and would love to hear from anyone on how early their babes came! I really want to start planning, and figure out when I'll stop working but not sure what to do?
Thanks!

I went on annual leave at 29 weeks and it was about right. Sounds early but I was huge and exhausted. I was lucky that I had saved enough leave to not need to use mat leave until 36 weeks which is when mine were delivered by ELCS.

Thanks @Louisa4987 that's when I'm thinking of going on leave too. That's a v impressive amount of leave you'd saved up! I've saved up a couple of weeks. Part of me thinks I should keep on working for as close to 36 weeks as I can, but the other half wants to give myself a bit of a rest in case the twins come early.

I got all the way to term, finished work on Friday and had ELCS on Monday but would not necessarily recommend! Twins are brilliant btw.

I think I finished at 34 weeks i and holiday booked however I had them ad 36+4 so my mat leave started on their birthday!

However....I COULD barely walk at that point. Just got in flopped at my desk and barked from there! Lol

@villainousbroodmare wow that's impressive! @Letsgetbizzy luckily I'm working from home so could definitely do some barking from my desk!

My sister had twins in November. she went on mat leave at 30 weeks but had a few weeks annual leave to take also, babies born at 34+6 normal spontaneous delivery. She had gone in for a grown scan and started getting pains but no one believed she was in labour until she was 10cm!
