No. If you're having an induction you may be asked to wear one on the antenatal ward, and any time you're moving around the hospital, but I don't think anywhere is asking women to wear them in active labour.

I gave birth 4 weeks ago and did not have to wear a mask during labour. Only time I did was on the ward when being induced and post natally but on labour ward and throughout labour neither me nor my partner had to wear a mask Smile

I asked my midwife about the rules at my hospital today and she said I’d get a instant COVID test and wouldn’t need a mask but my partner would. But it probably varies hospital to hospital a bit so just ask when you next have an appointment :)

No. I wore mine into the maternity unit and then took it off as soon as I was in the room Smile

Also my husband didn't need to once in room but every hospital maybe different
