Not sure for c section but I packed
Pads
Lip Balm
Lucozade
Fresh Pjs (a few)
Pants
Wet wipes
Fresh clothes
Magazines
Food
Slippers
Shower stuff
Hair brush
Can't remember what else!

I took magazines because I was induced. I didn't flick through one whilst casually giving birth Grin. Oh I also took ready made formula.

I’d add phone charger and ear plugs plus headphones to @EatTheHamTina really good list
Also any medication you regularly take

kmkkkkkk · 07/11/2020 23:12

Haha 😂 I can just picture that in my head and that sounds like a good list thanks xx

Oh yes that is a good shout. I'd also probably now mention masks? Oh and your own pillow! By day 2 I needed my own pillow!

Vaginal. Convinced I was going to need a c section as DS decided to go back to back and my first round of induction failed. 4 days later... 😂

Magazines or something to read. (My planned section was supposed to be first thing....nearly got cancelled due to emergencies then happened last min at 4:45pm).

Phone and charger.

Straw or sports cap water bottle.

Pads.

Toiletries - travel size shower gel, deodorant ( I was in for three days and felt grim n grotty and needed a shower each day), toothbrush n toothpaste

Biiiiiiig dark coloured knickers.

Loose fitting PJ bottoms that you can wear high up over your incision. Vest tops, zip up hoodie.

Flip flops/sliders or an easy to slip on slipper.

If your bf, bra, breast pads, lanisoh. Pre made formula if your not.

Nappies, wipes, vests, sleep suit and hat. Oh and vaseline. Cake your babies bum with it so you can actually get that first meconium poop off.
