10ml blood loss of twin 2 from umbilical cord

My twin daughters are now 2 and I don't remember being told in great detail exactly what happened... But after a c section at 37 1/2 weeks the peadetricians informed me that twin 2 had lost 10mls of blood after her umbilical cord was ripped out.... She was not given a blood transfusion until she was about 7 weeks old after being admitted to hospital for failure to thrive on 2 occasions n sent home. On the third admission she was given a blood transfusion.... Does anyone have any experience with blood loss of their baby at birth from umbilical complications as I can't seem to find much information on it. She is highly anemic and has to take 2.5 mls of iron daily. The paeditricion she was seeing was happy for her to go onto be seen reguraly by a GP which she does however I'm worried that what happened has set her back in life as she is ' different' from her twin. I'm not sure what I'm asking but any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
