Your GP Can refer your local birth centre/maternity unit
You can also self refer any unit in Ldn
If you give birth out of area, Your community follow up will be with local team
Where is your nearest hospital?

If it’s a high risk pg you’ll be advised to have a hospital birth
Regular pg midwife lead unit

UCH is excellent as is Royal Free

maternity provision In north London

I’d recommend st Mary’s, it’s a bit more central but the birth centre is amazing! I also had great ante natal care and the same mw throughout appointments. I didn’t actually deliver there but the rooms are lovely

It all depends where you live?
Where you’re happy to travel to and what is realistic
You can self refer to any NHS unit, they’re not compelled to accept the referral it demand upon level of demand. Post birth follow up will be with your local community team

Just to say, don’t be overly invested in a particular birth as things can and do deviate from plans.Look into all birth options get familiar with the options
Hospital birth, consultant lead
Midwife lead birth in birth centre
vaginal birth
Caesarian section

Consider analgesia eg epidural, gas & air

Write a birth plan that covers all these options, as things can and do deviate from plan. It’s best to be well read and aware off all options

Don’t get swept along by competitive birth stories
There can be an conscious and unconscious bias in literature and baby classes toward “natural” birth and no analgesia as a good birth.
