Anyone got a recommendation for a type/brand of birth pool...

...and what type of accessories i.e. electric pumping whatnots are really useful or just a waste of time?

My head is whirling with strainers and thermometers and gizmos and sizes - who knew there were different sizes of birth pool? And does it really matter?

Any advice gratefully received!

I had the fishy pool like the birth pool in a box one and I was fine with it, to second loopy, an old duvet underneath for the knees , i also lined mine with a polythene dustsheet from B+Q with a plain light coloured sheet under it (didn't really want to be gazing at fishies lol!) Kettles of water to get the temp right, bucket to bail it out and a bit of new hose to fill and empty it properly - tho i wouldn't ask your OH to siphon it it there's been any, er debris in it
