36 weeks pregnant with my first baby and can’t wait for baby to arrive.
I’m now questioning every twinge/ache/pain thinking ‘could this be it?’ I know I’m still a little early but had a growth scan today and was told baby is on the larger side and head is very low down so could be any day but if I go to my due date to expect a 8/9 pounder! 🙄
So I’m keen to get it here a week earlier and so I can meet it sooner too 😬😃😃

Also sat here questioning every little movement and twinge, @bubnbutton! 39w and really don't want to go overdue 🙈

I thought I just had wind when mine started.
I was overdue with both (+11 and +3).

I had a massive show with my 1st,it was a like a washed up jellyfish! But that was a few days before contractions.

Me neither @Margo34 although, I would just like to get to October first.
No word of a lie - woken up with very mild period pains this morning... let’s see how today goes!!

Ooh exciting!
1st was like mild period pain but definitely in “surges” about 2 min apart right from the start. Stayed mild for ages though, and labour took 36 hrs...
2nd also cramps which came and went, slowly (every 20 mins or so) at first, but everything ramped up pretty quickly and gave birth 7 hours later.
Good luck!

Another one with a movie style waters breaking flood here. Like you I had a scan around 35/36 weeks, measuring big. However, baby was postined high so no warning of imancy. 36+3...wooosh! Then I needed the oxytocin drip 24 hours later,

I was convinced baby was not moving and I was going to be late but I had a sweep done at 39 weeks and my midwife said 'I don't know how you're not already in labour!' I was 3cm and 50% effaced. Had a bloody show that night then mild contractions all the next day then baby girl came the day after that :)

Woke up at 6.30 to tightenings and contractions. I was in no doubt as to what they were.
