6 weeks postpartum - How did you feel after forceps and episiotomy?

Hi ladies, 6 weeks pp, had forceps/episiotomy delivery and I'm still really not feeling myself. Just wondering how long it took others to recover from this? I checked my episiotomy scar earlier today and it doesn't look right inside my vagina almost like a bubble? Sorry tmi. Also worried I might have some sort of prolapse as my vagina still feels heavy when walking. Just to top it all off I've been struggling with mastitis and blocked ducts for the last 4 weeks. Sorry if it seems like I'm moaning, feeling very alone at this point and like I'm never going to feel myself again. Thanks in advance x

I had a prolapse after a forceps delivery and episiotomy. I was devastated but it does heal up to an extent. It can take a year or even 2 to improve. It also improves once you finish breastfeeding (breast feeding puts your body in to a state of low oestrogen and low oestrogen makes prolapses worse). I still have my prolapses but they're a lot better and I generally don't notice them at all now.

3.5 year old sleep issues

3.5 year only gets 9.5 hours sleep and night and is shattered, wakes up crying and screaming as she’s exhausted and goes pre school 9-12pm Monday to Friday

She gets home l,has her lunch around 12.30-1pm then

Naps from 1.30 -3.00, give or take fifteen mins here and there

If she doesn’t nap, she is exhausted, overtired, screaming, hitting and just miserable. Goes bed early eg, 6.30 but will wake up around every sleep cycle crying which also means neither of us get consistent sleep on the days she doesn’t nap

The days she naps she won’t go sleep past 22.00 which is super late

No matter if I put her down for her night sleep around 7,30 she will fidget want cuddles, water and yawn, yawn and yawn and won’t sleep until later in evening

It’s so draining for both of us! Every day she wakes up over tired usually from lack of sleep or a late sleep

Please help!!!!
