I suppose it was lucky she had a C-section....
I try to imagine the size of the bump etc....pg must have been quite painful...

My grandmother delivered my Mother at home, with no pain relief, and no midwife, just the help of the lady from next door!

My mother was 12 pound at birth!

No wonder she was the last of her brothers and sisters!

That's more than three times what I weighed at birth.

I was going to say I couldn't get my head round the idea, but that's not the organ wincing at the very thought.
