When I was in hospital on a dri with ds1, oooh 8 years ago? they took a cuppa to the aldy in the next bed, all OK. 5 minutes later the crash team was delivering her baby in her bed, no time to go anywhere LOL! Damned fast!

I got to 10cms without feeling much with both my ds's it isn't as great as you would think. You go from no pain to agony in a very short time, which doesn't give you much time to get used to the pain!

With DS2 I walked in to the hospital at 8.30am and he was delivered at 8.49am after 2 pushes.

I quite enjoyed the excitement and anticipation of my labours, and the gas and air. Wouldn't have wanted to do without that. It must have been pretty intense for her. I'd rather take a bit of time about it. Just think how shocked you'd feel afterwards. Mind you if you thought about it in time you could move to the room that your least favorite carpet was in and then claim it on the insurance!!

Wow Kimi, that's incredible . Can't believe your first was so quick too. Any tips for a first-timer?!
