Hello!
Looking for some advice please! I've had mucus discharge for the last 3 days and this morning I've woken up with what I can only explain as a strong period like cramps in my uterus?

Can anyone enlighten me on weather this is the start please? First baby so very unsure what to look out for!
Thank you in advance!x

Hi, I’m in a similar position, lots of cramping today and have had a lot of discharge for a few days but I don’t think Iv lost my mucus plug. Hoping it is that start of things for both of us

I’m 38+2 with my first and experiencing exactly the same - watching this thread in the hope someone will say we’re all going into labour!! Flowers

Good news is here ladies. I had the exact same symptoms. I was 4 days late and suffering with terrible heartburn. I got up at 2am and was pacing the kitchen absolutely pissed off to high heaven. I remembered my friend told me tweeking nipples is supposed to help so I dug out my breast pump and made myself comfy on the settee. I swear to god 15 mins in to it I started to get mild period pains that came intermittently maybe every 10 mins or so so I stopped. Anyhow 5 mins later I stood up and my waters gushed everywhere. I am 100% convinced that tweeking nips and bouncing on the ball all day every day really helped me.

One word of advice is to try and stay active or at least not on back in labour. Go on knees or lean over the bed. My baby decided he didnt want to come for another 30 odd hours. I was contracting all day Sunday to the point where I was convinced he was going to drop out to being told I was only 3cm. Went home had a great contractions stopped. Went back in day after for routine check up and was admitted and put on a drip. 3 hours later baby arrived. Very fast and he shot out like a bullet

Keep me posted ladies and good luck

No way!! I’ve had the most horrendous heartburn for the last 2 days! I hope I hope I hope Grin

I actually had heartburn throughout the most of my pregnancy. The pain was unbearable sometimes and I still suffer with a sore throat now 16 weeks on. I also had hyperemesis gravidarum which made my throat quite sore from early on.

Do you know what you are having

em90792 · 20/06/2020 23:52

I've had awful bowel movements all day, nausea and heartburn! Now currently peeing every 5minutes so asume baby is pushing down.. also wondering if something is happening!

Did any of you go into labour???

Reading this with interest! Hope everyone is okay!
My mucus plug has been coming in bits since this morning & I've been getting period like cramps in lower abdomen throughout the day. Not feeling anything in my back or anywhere else, & it doesn't feel like surges so I'm doubtful they are actually contractions. They are getting more noticeable now, but manageable. Wondering if this could be it....... any advice appreciated Grin( 40+5)

@purpletrees3 fingers crossed! It certainly.sounds like you might be in early labour! I've had nothing else, other than a few painful braxton hicks last night! I'm not as close to due date yet though!

NameChangingShame · 26/06/2020 06:11

I can confirm I was in early labour! 3 days later my little girl came on her due date!!☺️☺️
