Had a text this morning saying her waters had broken.

Had another one a minute or three ago to say contractions ten minutes apart.

And another just now to say she's "having a lovely time. Can feel this bubba moving down and feel amazing. Sun is shining and everything."

Will keep you posted!

Er, thanks, NotAnOtter, I have 3 boys, does that make me ugly?

FoghornLeghorn · 26/09/2007 10:44

AWWwwwww TC - possibly the best birth announcement I have ever read .
Well done, you sound like you were absolutely amazing and welcome to the world little angel. I bet Lottie and Eve look so cute with her.

Just seen this on the Mumsnet Roundup

Congrats TC! What a lovely birth story! (Lolling about the birth pool and your 2 girls not being an ideal scenario )

Saker · 28/09/2007 10:55

Sorry I'm ridiculously late to this also but what a lovely description of the birth. Glad it all went so well. Lots of congratulations.

barefeete · 28/09/2007 20:22

CONGRATULATIONS, what an amazing story - you brought tears to my eyes and made me (for a second only!!!) consider a 3rd baby!

thomcat · 28/09/2007 21:09

How funny - guess what - was at my old active birth class last night at the request of the teacher who wanted me to tell the mums the story. I was telling about the train station moment and one of the mums said 'oh my god, it was you, my husband was on the platform'!!!!

He came home from work and said to her 'you'll never guess what happened on the way to work today', and told her the story. He described Dom as 'sauntering down the platform' when he heard the announcement!!!! She couldn't believe it turned out to be me.

How mad is that!

codswallop · 28/09/2007 21:12

was it " stop your wife is in labour"

codswallop · 28/09/2007 21:13

You sound like my father!

We'll think about it on .....Tuesday!

chipmonkey · 28/09/2007 21:28

Sauntering down the platform? Sounds like you had nothing to worry about anyway, Thomcat, he wasn't going to catch that train!

mylastrolo · 28/09/2007 21:30

d/d3 how lovely for you. how weird was that and how amazing are you to be at an anti-natal group after just having a baby.

Can we play guess the name? yes i have been drinking

chipmonkey · 28/09/2007 21:36

Lola

thomcat · 28/09/2007 21:50

You can guess if you like, feel free, might give me some ideas.
