Induction by breaking waters, 3rd baby, booked for 14days overdue

Feeling frustrated!

Babies 1 and 2 were 10 days overdue. First baby was a long horrible induction, 2nd was a water birth.

I am 41+2 and yesterday had a sweep, have induction booked for 42wks. Although based on LMP dates I’ll be 41+2...

Having a scan tomorrow to check all’s ok.

Cervix was 2-3cm yesterday. Stretchy, medium softness. I lost plug 3hrs after sweep.

If I have induction next week, MW said they will be able to do this just by breaking waters as cervix is favourable.

What are your experiences of an induction like this? Pref with 2nd or subsequent babies

I was induced with my second one. They told me they could break my waters, but it was better to take things slowly so I had a sweep and gel instead. Baby was here about 6 hours later - that was at 40+6.
