Any positive stories birthing a big baby?

Ended up having an EMCS with my son 2 years ago, not due to size of baby but he was 8lb 8oz which was big for me. I'm 5ft1 so this was 88th centile.
Really keen for a VBAC, currently 39+4. Ended up having a scan today and baby measuring off the scale (for me), they think already over 9lb Shock
They said the scan may not be right but I'm really confused about what to do. Anyone else quite small but had a big baby?

@mnahmnah what strange coincidence!!

I am a size 10 and have had 11lb, 10lb and 9lb babies. Only difference in the labours was I had an episiotomy with the first. All straightforward, quick, gas and air labours. So in my case all positive! They predicted all of mine would be 7lb or under on the growth scans btw 🙄 so highly inaccurate!

I've generally found scan data (size and dates) massively innaccurate:

I'm 5'3".

Ds1 predicted to be 10lb+. Induced at 40 +10. Emcs for failure to progress/distress. Birth weight 6lb 2oz. Even consultant surprised pulling him out. After generations of girls, everyone assumed I'd been having another, and big, red headed baby, not a scrawny blond boy - 'oh, you're just a wee thing'.

Dd1. Vbac at 40+12. Long labour (30hrs) as back to back & hand up by her face. Epidural. Minor tear. 8lb. All fine, manageable.

Ds2. Vbac induction at 40+13. 5 hours, very fast end. Gas and air. Episiotomy. 9lb. Home same day.
