39 weeks and all signs of labour except contractions

Ok so, I've been having ALL the symptoms of labour, except contractions for the last couple of days now on and off. To be more clear here's a list:

  • groin pain (sharp + achy)
  • mucus plug lost/losing it
  • mild cramps in both sides (never at same time)
  • mild to intense back aches almost constantly
  • sharp pains through vagina and bum
  • urges both days to run to bathroom but can't seem to go at all
  • nausea
  • cold like symptoms (stuffed nose)
  • extreme lack of energy
  • pelvic pain has come back through the night when I turn over

Please tell me I'm close?? I've been told by everyone he will come early especially since I had preterm labour at 29 weeks which was stopped thankfully, but I just feel like I'm going insane !! 🤷🏼‍♀️🤞🏼

Sounds like you are on your way! Have you had any tightenings at all? X

It's really hard to tell because baby moves and when he does it does feel crazy right and awful and a lot of the time painful. So I can't tell if it's him or not. Midwife has previously told me I've had tightenings before and not even noticed them but she could feel them herself. It was all very straight. I get the pain rather than the tightness. Same at 29 weeks preterm labour too. Pain but could not feel tightening at all so was surprised when she told me I was having them 😩

Excuse the spelling mistakes, the screen doesn't show me what I'm typing because it's lagged x

Hate to ruin it for you but I had all these from 36 weeks onwards... DS came 40+3 from induction
