Natural birth after c section - any successes to share?

I had a c section 3 years ago as induction didn’t work.
I didn’t dilate past 3cm

I have requested an elective c section this time but my consultant is suggesting that due to the current situation it might not be possible to book one in and I should expect to go into labour naturally and either try for a natural birth or end in EMCS at last resort

So, to get my head around the potential of natural birth can anyone let me know if it did or didn’t work for you the second time if you had failed induction the first time?

My first was an emergency my son was 2 weeks late got to 9cm then he turned so has to have a section after 36 hours of labor my second was ten days late natural labour 1 hour 50 mins from start to finish no issues or anything
