Waters have just gone gah!

Midwife popped round as I was having tightenings last night and started to lose my plug today.

She gave me a sweep and said I was about 2-3cm, baby’s head was way down. Within 10 minutes of her leaving my waters have gone!! Full on gushing woah.

I’m currently sat on a potty on the sofa as it was the nearest thing to hand 🙈😂 DH has taken an overnight bag for our Dd to his mum’s. I’m just sat here trying not to freak out!!

Someone help me stay calm!! I am freaking out. 39+5 currently.

Congratulations! That babygrow brings back memories for me. I bought it to the hospital with me for my DS to wear as his first outfit but he was so big, it didn't fit him.

We at last decided her name tonight, Cleo Dorothy ❤️ Feels ‘proper’ now she has a name! I hope anyone considering homebirth finds this thread and sees all the nice comments about it! It really is an incredible experience x
