Hi I'm really scared that it's cancer or something as I haven't had a smear test since 2017 and I had some irregular bleeding throughout a month before I concieved this pregnancy.

I've been fine had no issues down there since the random bleeding sex feels fine, I'm going to the toilet fine but since having my son where I didn't tear etc I've felt a lump just about an inch inside two the left wall by the opening of the vagina, it feels deep and about the size of a small tangerine it feels hard like a muscle or something.

When I first gave birth it hurt and felt like I was sitting on top of it, then it felt bruised and heavy and pressured and then it eased of and actually now I feel no pain at all and it doesn't hurt to press or push it. I'm petrified what on earth is it Confused

Go and see your GP. Far more likely to be linked to pregnancy and giving birth than cancer, but go for a check up to out your mind at rest

Prolapse of the vagina wall?

peanutdust · 18/01/2020 17:27

Thank you sorry I don't mean to be so dramatic just I worry so much since I've had kids probably need to calm down.

But bloody hell feels like I've stuck an orange in my vagina and just left it there Shock

Prolapse? Go and see your GP Flowers.

I've booked in for the 30th hoping it is just a prolapse x

Sounds very much like prolapse. Good luck at the GP

If it was a prolapse would it be able to move a little when I do a pelvic floor exercise?

Hi I've just had a feel and realised it's on both sides and seems to be by the vagina opening but around the bum bit does that sound like a prolapse?

I am not a doctor but I have a prolapse and it does move when I do my pelvic floors. How long ago did you give birth?

peanutdust · 20/01/2020 16:10

@SproutMuncher 3 weeks ago x

Ah if it was only 3 weeks ago there’s every chance it will improve! Go and get checked out but things will still be moving back into place at 3 weeks pp x

Thank you so much I'm so scared it's sinister I've never had this before with the other two kids so it's really frightened me I don't mind a prolapse as I know that is ok and fixable but anything else god no. I will try pelvic floors see if that helps in the mean time x
