Private/independent midwife recommendations for central/east London

Hello and help!

I'm currently six months pregnant with my first child and I've decided to look into getting a private/independent midwife to support the birth. I'm particularly anxious about the birth (long story) and haven't had the best experience with the NHS midwives I've come across so far. I want to give birth at the Royal London Hospital - can anyone please recommend an independent/private midwife that might cover central/east London? I seem to just be coming across ones that cover west or north London.

Thanks in advance Smile

You are outside my usual area, but depending what you are looking for I may be able to help. I specialise in complex pregnancies (usually when baby has issues) and am happy to support with a hospital birth. Perhaps have a look at my website www.walkingwithyou.org.uk I would be happy to meet for an initial discussion with no obligation.

Kemi Johnson and samsara tanner are fantastic and come as a team of indie midwife of thirty years and super experienced doula.
