Anything that actually helped you go into labour?

So I'm sure we've all heard old wives tales of what to try to start things going. Of course none of them are proven to actually start the labour. Anything you have tried and it's worked? Anything you 'swear by'?!
I know I know, baby will come when she's ready but maybe there's something worth trying :) second pregnancy

Also, your comment about not being able to put your knickers on made me laugh! I'm struggling with socks, shoes.. Definitely didn't have these issues in first pregnancy!
