Bloody show and constant cramps

It's my first pregnancy and I'm aware the bloody show isn't necessarily a sign things will happen soon, but was pretty uncomfortable all last night and have had cramps all day (bloody show at about 7.30 this morning). I can't tell when the cramps stop and start though, so that means they're not contractions, right? What's going on?!

I've had 4 babies and in my experience the bloody show always resulted in a baby around 24 hours later. I think it sounds like the start of labour! Good luck!

I had what I thought was a show followed by cramps. Then 24 hours later a show the size of a plum came and the cramps gradually became contractions.

It’s definitely a start op but there is no way of knowing how long it will take.
