2nd baby labour signs

36+3 and feel like I'm getting 'labour signs' I know with 2nd baby they can start sooner and last for what seems forever. With my DS I didn't have any signs until I had my sweep at 40+4..

Did anyone have any signs sooner with 2nd baby? Or what were your signs? Xx

God I've got weird sensations today.... Everytime I sit on the toilet my actual vag hole (sorry if people find that tmi) hurts... Almost like a really bad period where it hurts and feels like someone is trying to bloody clamp it open. Have been doing lots of faffing today, getting our bedroom ready, husband is doing the nursery and I've finally packed my hospital bag... I have an awful water infection though and can't keep off the toilet so isn't helping the pains 😭 hope everyone is doing okay today xx

@bakingbabyv. It's as if you are in my body right now! Driving me insane the amount of pressure. Last night I had to go to bed early as I just don't feel well at all I can't explain in what way just not well. Sadly my 3 year decided to wake up at 6am coughing and panicking so now I'm exhausted 😭 hope you get some good news soon xx

Waiting on my second labour to start too. I had one strong cramp only lasted 2 seconds and now I've a lot of tightening and just feel very off

Mynotsoperfectlittlefamily · 23/07/2019 13:08

My waters broke last night and I had my little one this morning at 38w3/4d.
Labour was quick thank fully as it was induced.
Good luck ladies xx

Ps Jesus Christ I am so hot today... DS is asleep upstairs with the fan so I can't even use that, luckily we have a nice breeze coming through the lounge where I am but lord above it's warm

Mynotsoperfectlittlefamily Congratulations, hope you're all doing well.

So baking how are you coping today then?!
I made the mistake of arranging a play date at a soft play Shock and I'm not going to lie, it was horrific! It's been 34 here and I was melting most of the day.

I've just had a bit of a show, going to AS my old posts to see how soon before labour my last one came. I think it was around a week from memory...
I'm due Sat so could be anytime but I'm telling myself I have another two weeks to wait.
Hope everyone is well Flowers Cake

@Mynotsoperfectlittlefamily congratulations to you! What did you have?

Mynotsoperfectlittlefamily · 29/07/2019 21:44

Thank you all.
The girl at my anomaly scan turned out to be a boy 🙈 he's lovely though and well worth it xx

Blondiejay24 · 30/07/2019 16:03

@Mynotsoperfectlittlefamily wow that’s unusual! Little boys are special too though :) I’ve had a boy this time. Totally different to my first little girl but just as sweet
