Hi all, ok, I am having my first c section (third baby) in 5 weeks time.
Any words of advice from those of you who've had one? What do you wish you'd known/done? Essential items to have to help with recovery? Best piece of advice you were given?
Thanks wise ladies xx

@teejayem I'm assuming we won't feel it nor see it happening, so let's just forget it does 😂

I just have visions of some poor nurse with a fluffy duster and a bucket trying wash out my fanoir.

Oh well. Spinal block ignorance is bliss eh!!

Also, slight counterpoint to one of the posts above: my milk came in on day three.

Mine also, milk plus baby blues on day 3 after both sections. By day 4 I had tears and milk leaking everywhere.

I always found disposable knickers useful for hospital. You can leak the pads otherwise. You can get the maternity ones at Boots for £2.75.
