Hi mums!! Pls do help me! Has anyone had experience with either of the two? Ive finally decided to deliver at The Portland. Im having MoDi twins. Was hoping to go as natural but im being recommended a C sec (although no complications and both are head down!). But most importantly, who out of the two would put my children's safety and me first... before thinking of their diary and planning a C in advance! Pls help xxx

I had Mr Horner for most of my care and he was great (as was the Portland). Although I didn't have twins!

Thanks so much! Did you have natural birth or C sec?

I had a natural birth, but know he's done lots of C-sections.

He was very calm and reassuring, which was just what I needed! He also pre-empted many worries I definitely would have had if he hadnt already reassured me. He sent me for an extra scan before I went on holiday in the first trimester as 'otherwise you won't be able to enjoy yourself', and kept reiterating I wouldn't feel baby kick for a long time as I had an anterior placenta. He was right, I didn't feel anything until 23 weeks and people were asking from about 16. If he hadn't been so calm about it and already warned me I would have spent those weeks frantic with worry.

Good luck making a decision! I had a wonderful birth (even though I had a couple of complications) and that is entirely down to the quality of care I received.
