Breech 34+3, chances of him turning?

As the title says pretty much. Sent for a scan yesterday and babies head is in my ribs, bum first with feet folded down next to his bum. Section is my absolute worst fear so praying and hoping for some flips and cooperation! Any success stories of babies turning late on?

DC2 decided to flip into a breech position around 36 weeks. I was booked in for an ECV but DC turned on their own the night before.
It was verrrrry uncomfortable when they turned though!
Have you been offered an ECV?

For what it’s worth I did have a section and it’s really not what you’re imagining! (I was so worried about it too!)

Good luck.

My dc1 was breech and also small so they didn't want me to wait to see if she would flip
I did an ecv and didn't find it painful in the slightest, just uncomfortable at one point.
Then went on to have a natural birth.
I had tried absolutely everything but nothing got her to budge.
Ecv was done at about 35-36weeks and she came 4weeks later

Same at 35/36 weeks. Went for a swim and she turned. I had braxton hicks quite bad as a result but all checked out and normal delivery x

DS was breech until 36 weeks. I managed to get him to turn by lying upside down on my ironing board with a bad of frozen peas on my bump! Anything is worth a try!
My DD was undiagnosed breech and I delivered her vaginally. Would've done it again with DS rather than have a section as I was terrified of having one too

My DS (now nearly 22) turned around the same time - very strange sensation 🙃

Bit of a shock as I was expecting to have a Cesar & as I lived in the sticks with husband working away all week I had been to no ante natal classes whatsoever 👀

Normal delivery luckily 😅

I thought he may have turned yesterday whilst I was in the bath as my bump went crazy but I'm totally second guessing it! I have the midwife again this week to repeat a urinalysis so perhaps she can palpate and ill know better then

My first born was back to Back she turned during my labour I believe that babies can turn very last minute. Maybe try the exercise ball or YouTube some videos on how to naturally turn baby. Baby might just do a full turn you have 6 weeks left there’s plenty of time

My second was still breech at that stage. Had turned by 36 weeks when I had a routine growth scan. If still head down at 36 weeks you'll be offered a ECV. Also breech doesn't automatically = section (I did a lot of research into breech vaginal delivery as under no circumstances did I want a section, unless there was literally no other choice).

Baby can turn right up to the last day and usually do, it’s ankh about 5% that don’t. They’ll even check in the day if c section just in case... hope all goes well.

In the meantime, get on all fours and keep your bum higher than your tummy, several tunes a day :)
