Did you have your DC at similar weeks?

Not sure if the title makes sense. Basically if you had your first DC at say 39 weeks did your 2nd,3rd etc come at a similar time?
DH wants to book two weeks holiday after his paternity leave but he has to book it well in advance.
DD was born at 38 weeks. I wouldn't assume that would happen again. Thinking of just saying for him to book it three weeks after my due date. Just seeing if there is any correlation. TIA

Not sure yet as DC2 isn't ready to come out but all of me and my siblings came early. Youngest brother came 3 days early, me and other two were 10-11 days early.

DH and siblings were all 3-1.5 weeks late except the twins who were induced at 38 weeks. They would have kept going we reckon. "Too comfortable in there" is what they told mil each time.

I argued from the beginning that I was further along than the sonographer thought with my second. As if by magic my lb turned up on the exact day my LG did (by my dates) and one ounce between them.

DramaAlpaca · 09/05/2019 17:04

Yes, pretty much. DC1 & DC3 were both born at 39 weeks and DC2 at 40 weeks.

My DM had me on my due date and my sibling two days early.

Dinosauratemydaffodils · 09/05/2019 17:04

Both mine were born at 39+1. Went into labour with dc1 at 38+4 and with dc2 at 39 weeks exactly. Both ended up as emergency sections and I was told if I had a 3rd, odds on I'd go into labour before any planned section again.

Sleepforaweek · 09/05/2019 17:06

Dc1 - 36 weeks
DC2. - 40 weeks
DC3 - 38 weeks

Chasingsquirrels · 09/05/2019 17:06

Mine did, just after midnight at 37+0 and just before midnight at 36+6.

sickmumma · 09/05/2019 17:06

Yes my first three were all born at 38 weeks (they all outdid each other by a days gestation) I was convinced my 4th would be the same however she came 3 days over due! So I would say no you can't every correctly predict!!

MillieMoodle · 09/05/2019 17:15

Yes, both overdue!

DS1 - 41+5 (induced)
DS2 - 41+3 (not induced)

Ds1 and ds3 were each 10 days early, and ds2 was 7 days early, so pretty similar.
