Formula Feeding Mummies - how long did it take for your periods to come back?

Just that really and also were they more painful/longer/heavier than before?

I breastfed mine, but with my first it came back at 8 weeks post-partum and my second 8 months.

Hi, mine came back once i had my pill free week. I started back on contraception after 7 weeks so i guess that would work out at 10 weeks? Mine are deffo heavier the first couple of days but i havent had an increase in cramps or pain.

3 months

DD 4 weeks on the dot.

DS 6 weeks. Surprising.

No pill, no nothing in both cases.

Thanks for the replies. Breastfed my first so my periods didn't come back for 8 months. Hoping they stay away as long as possible this time as well although I know as I'm bottle feeding they'll probably rear their ugly head sooner.
