Hi
We had a growth scan last week and she is measuring at 9lbs at 36 weeks!!! Has anyone experienced this and the measuring has been inaccurate? We’ve decided on a c section as she is also breech, but they won’t do it until 39 weeks and I’m worried she’ll be 11lbs by then!!!

A growth scan at 39 weeks told me my baby was 8lbs, they were concerned as I was so huge, it was a huge placenta and lots of waters they said, induced at 42 weeks I naturally delivered an 11lb 3oz boy, a record breaking placenta and enough waters to float a midwife. He stayed above the 99th centile until he hit three, then stretched out and slimmed right down. He is now a healthy 7 year old who is tall for his age and has healthy within range body weight. He is active and eats well, with the usual reluctance to eat broccoli that all my children seem to have. Wishing you all the very best with your new baby! How exciting! Flowers
