If you're really shortsighted, did you wear glasses in labour?

I can't imagine wanting to faff around with my lenses, especially as my eyes have been dry recently, but I was wondering if my glasses will annoy me during labour?

I am really, really shortsighted (-6) and can't really see anything without them...

I don't know what number but I can't see in front of my face without lenses. I gave birth Saturday and wore my glasses even tho I feel like I can't see as well as couldn't imagine tryin to sleep etc with them in

-8 here. Didn't first time because the G&A mask made them steam up and then they said I couldn't wear them in theatre. Tbh it gave the whole experience a slightly unreal feeling, lost track of time and had no idea what was going on. I still maintain dh had a worse time of it than I did.

2nd time I had an elcs and was allowed to keep them on. No idea why it was okay this time!
