help: waters broke but no contractions and nasty induction booked tomorrow!

Hoping someone can beam contraction inducing karma to me.

waters broke last night, went to St Thomas to be checked out today - all fine - but their policy is to give me 24-36 hours to start naturally. They have booked the induction app for 1pm tomorrow.

I know I do not have to go, I did not argue as thought contractions might start tonight anyway.

Two questions: any hot tips to start the contractions? I have been walking and trying Lulumamas favourite nipple stim.

Also if I do go tomorrow but just ask for a sweep, no IV, and another 24hrs to wait, do you think they will go for it?

A friend said St George in Tooting gives you 72 hours.

Help! Wanted a lentil-weaving-tastic birthpool experience, not hooked up to IV with constant monitoring.
