C-sections before 39 weeks if you have a history of labouring earlier

We are thinking about a 3rd child. I've had 2 emergency sections, one utterly horrendous cat 1 and one rather lovely cat 2. With dc1 I went into labour at 38+4 and with dc2 39 weeks on the dot (our trust seem to really push 39+1 as the earliest for planned sections).

If we have a 3rd, I'd really like them to be delivered by someone who hasn't been up all night/without the stress of not knowing what will happen/whether I'll actually get a section as I do dilate etc.

Has anyone managed to get a section booked for earlier than 39 weeks based purely on the fact that they have a history of going into labour before then?

I tried and was denied.... 😕 First born at 35 weeks and was told it was “highly likely” to happen again. Needed a CS for DC2 as was breech. Told definitely would not book me in before 39 weeks regardless. Needless to say, went into spontaneous labour at 37 weeks and then needed an emergency CS 🙄🙄 But I guess they would never have agreed to book me in that early anyway... And even though it was emergency (although technically planned), it was still a fabulous experience!
