Hi,

I am preparing for a VBAC this April at the NNUH. Could anyone please share their recent experiences at the consultant led unit or the MLBU?

Thank you.

Hi,

I gave birth at NNUH last year. 11 months or so ago.

A very good hospital in my opinion. I didn’t have the best of times (due to just long labour and an awkward baby). But received great care from all of the staff. And good aftercare which I needed.

I spent time in MBLU and consultant unit as had to be transferred to have waters broken and drip to speed up labour.

Hope that helps.

I wasn’t consultant led all the way through pregnancy and had an elective c Section recently.

The consultant led antenatal care was exceptional, absolutely no complaints there. As was the C Section.
I was nervous about the aftercare as didn’t have a good experience there the first time round but was pleasantly surprised as things really seem to have changed for the better. So, no complains really!
