Is it normal for sex to hurt my back after caesarian?

slightly weird question but since having an emergency c-section 4 months ago -whenever we have sex and I'm on top I get sharp pain in my lower back on the same side as my incision. Is this normal? Is it related to the lack of stomach muscle I now have? It's making me really inhibited (well that and the fact that I hate me fat bod at the mo!)

That doesn't sound right. Go see your GP and ask to be referred to the obstetrician if she can't help.

ok mines slightly diff but i have a sharp pain inside when i have sex (on top) too. i also had an e-cs so don't know if its connected to that. saw dr today(for my post natal) and he said just to try and let things settle down for another few months then return if no better then. I had my c-section on 28th april.
