Would you like the same midwife for pregnancy and labour and postnatal on the NHS?

Have done your survey Mears - I thought it great that I had a group of midwives so I would at least get one I had met - so far I have met 2 of them and there are 8 so my feelings of comfort are sliding that I will get one I have never even clapped eyes on!!

You could become the official mumsnet midwife though and solve all of our problems!!

Survey done. We already have something similar in this borough, although you cannot actually choose which midwife, you just get the continuity of care. For me it was brilliant the first time round as my midwife and and back-up were great. But second time round I had an awful awful midwife who I dreaded seeing and it did spoil the experience somewhat .
