Hi. This is my 4th baby but I've always been induced so never experienced going into labour naturally. I started with period like pains at 2.30 yesterday afternoon along with regular tightenings every 5-6 minutes. At first thought it might just be Braxton hicks, but walking made it worse and a bath didn't help at all and neither did paracetamol. These stopped around 4am. They've now started again, not as regular but the tightenings have returned along with the cramps and now back pain. Is this just normal pregnancy aches. The hospital is a good 45 minute drive away and I don't drive, hubby is at work until 5 😥

I would say it’s braxton Hicks and your body getting ready for labour. How’s things today?xx
