Milton Keynes or Bedford hospital

Hi,

I wondered if anyone could share their experiences of recently giving birth at either Milton Keynes or Bedford Hospital?

I'm currently trying to decide between the two. In terms of facilities they seem similar - although I found the Milton Keynes hospital tour more informative than the one at Bedford.

I know that Milton Keynes has had problems in the past, but I've heard that it is on the up due to the subsequent actions taken.

Any advice greatly appreciated :).

I don't want to go into details publicly but Feel so strongly I can't not - But I would NEVER return to MK Labour Ward after delivering there 3.5 years ago.

My experience isn't at all recent, but despite living very close to MK when I had DC2, I chose to go somewhere else. I gather things haven't changed.

I had DS at MK in late 2016. Care on the labour ward was absolutely fine, the postnatal ward was very busy and feeding support particularly (which was all I stayed in for) very hit-and-miss. They've got a new infant feeding co-ordinator now and are pushing quite hard to improve things though, so if I were to have a second I'd happily go there again.
