Anyone have this or had it? Did it go away? Its been like this since the day after my c section my partner says. But i only got to see it last night. Quite upset as i had a perfectly neat scar from last time. Not only that but i had no idea a trainee surgeon was doing the c section along with a qualified surgeon. Midwifes have never said anything about it when they have looked but they've only checked it once. I'll attach a picture

If get that checks out- looks a bit infected/angry

I had one end that was slightly puckered and my first one was was a raised line even 2 years later. I've had 3 though and the last surgeon must have been the best as my scar is very neat and flat, almost invisible.

Its not infected thats just the scar 😞

My 2nd c section scar was exactly like this, I seen it around day 4 and burst into tears... it healed fine, I had the long running stitch removed and over a few weeks it settled down and returned to being a flat scar once healed.
How long ago did you have the c section?
Oh and congratulations!!

Do get it checked just in case - my scar got infected and took blimming ages to heal.

SamanthaH92 · 26/07/2018 11:41

I will get it rechecked to be safe. I'm bathing it and drying it properly. Also poped a pad under my flabby bits to absorb any moisture incase. Just praying that bit goes away. Its fairly big x

Now having to go to walk in centre as noticed a hole in it and it has got redder. Also i didn't take any paracetomol to see if my temprature would go up (sign of infection) and it has gone up. Thanks for your replies ladies x
