I'm due next week (csection) and am dreading being in a hot sweaty hospital.

If you gave birth in the last 2 months or so is their anything I should add to my hospital bag to make a day or two's stay more bearable.

Our hospital is old and does not have aircon!

Thank you!

Spray bottles you can fill with water. Ikea sell them. I take some for labour anyway and dp sprays me, it’s refreshing.

I gave birth 4 days ago and gave birth in just a vest top. the delivery room had a fan which was good but I didn't really notice the heat until I started pushing. I packed a few flannel and got my partner to wet them with cold water and put them on my head and chest during that period and after birth. and then just had vest tops and loose bottoms for the ward after. i slept in just top and knickers tho

Oh one thing I would say:
If there is a chance baby will be small, take LOADS of baby clothes!
My baby was emergency c section on Saturday so was pretty hot. He has to be in a nappy, a short sleeve baby grow and a long sleeve sleepsuit with a blanket and a hat all the time.
Wasn't expecting him to be so small so all his clothes drown him. He has been sick over everything tho so far. Hopefully we can go home soon and I can put him in something clean!
