8 days off due date and feeling so sick :( could it be a sign?

This is my 2nd baby. With ds1 I had no symtoms of labour, then went for a sweep on my due date, went home for a nap and woke up with diarrhoea followed immediately by contractions.
This time I'm booked in for a csec on my due date next weds.
The last few nights I've woken up really crampy and feeling generally unwell.
Last night and today this was also joined by an overwhelming sense of nausea, something I've not experienced throughout my pregnancy at all
Could this be a sign things may kick off earlier?
I'm just nervous because of needing the csec, if it happens earlier than planned I have to go to a different hospital and also childcare with dc1 will be an issue.

Thanks!

Yes it could be, the body produces a surge in hormones to kick or labour which can cause sickness and diarrhoea
