I had a sweep yesterday which went fairly well, in that I was 3cm dilated and I've lost my mucus plug since. I thought things were starting last night but it's all tailed off overnight and I could sleep though most of the contractions and cramps so they didn't have the urgency that my last labour did or I wouldn't have been able to sleep at all...
I'm being induced this weekend so while I know no one can tell me what will happen, I'd love to know if anyone else had similar and how long it took after the induction was started?
A midwife I spoke to said that being 3cm can be normal at this stage and might not mean anything but I was hoping the fact that I was might help the process along...
