Mumsnetters in England: what do you think should be on your maternity record?

What do you think should be included in your maternity record?

The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) invite Mumsnetters in England to participate in a survey on draft proposals for the content and structure of maternity records.

The survey will take 15 minutes to complete and results will inform the final draft of the maternity record standard. Topics covered in the survey are: alcohol and smoking, mental health and well-being, safeguarding, social risk factors, delivery and birth records and immunisations.

Responses to the survey will be used to inform the final draft of the proposal, which aims to ensure a uniform maternity record on all provider maternity systems, to ensure better quality data and support information sharing.

The RCP wants the final draft to be informed by pregnant women and parents, so your input really is vital.

The survey can be found here www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/8GGC792 and closes at noon on the 19th of March.

If you have any questions regarding this project, please contact Nicola Quinn, Project Manager [email protected]

And as always, let us know what you think.
