The charity Birthrights, which works to improve maternity care with a focus on human rights, has sent us a request for case studies.

They’re looking to contact women who may have been directly affected by Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s policy of refusing maternal caesarean requests and referring women who do ask for them to other NHS Trusts.

Birthrights say they are currently looking at all options to bring about a change to this policy and are keen to understand its impact on local women.

To contribute, please email [email protected] in confidence.
We at MNHQ have no further details about this, and Birthrights will not necessarily be monitoring this thread, so if you have any further questions please contact the charity directly.
