What to wear in labour

Just making a list for my hospital bag! What is every one taking to wear in labour?

I know it doesn't really matter but I want to be comfy! Not planning birth pool or anything.

I wore a vest top and soft stretchy pj shorts, then my waters burst so I whipped them off and was in too much pain to give a shit so actually have birth in a vest top. I had cheap primark button up nighties for after the birth so that I’d be comfy and could unbutton for skin to skin and breastfeeding. Also black stretchy cotton pj bottoms for after..

I assume you mean for the hospital/ active labour?
I got a couple of long nighties from primark. Not maternity, I just got the next size than I am usually.
I knew I'd want to remain covered up as much as possible.
I also had a tankini from Mothercare as I knew I wanted to try the pool. That way I could keep my top half covered at all times.
For after I had large black knickers from primark (didn't want disposable), unwired bras (I knew I wouldn't be breast feeding so they weren't designed for that). And black pyjamas.
To go home I had black tracksuit bottoms, black t shirt and black jacket.

I bought a primark nighty but ended up birthing in the dress I travelled to hospital in (almost in the car park)

I spent ages researching and looking st stuff online. Eventually settled for primark grey t shirt (5 sizes too big). Glad I didn't waste the money as my labour was 2h long, so I basically ripped all my clothes off on arrival bar my sports bra, and spent two hours rolling around in just that! Dignity out the window Grin
