37+5 - EDD 04/02/18 - anyone else close & what to wait it out with me?

37+5 today, EDD 04/02/2018

Anticipation is building on when this baby will arrive & hate all this waiting around. Only been off work a week and feel impatient already.

Anyone else very close and want to wait it out with me?!!

Saw MW yesterday who said baby was 2/5 engaged but it’s back to back at moment. Doing bouncing on ball to encourage it round but appears to be stubborn like it’s mother 😁😁😁

Hey, yeah I'll wait it out with you. I'm due on 07/02. I'm feeling very nervous and anxious about the birth tbh. I have a homebirth planned but terrified of going over and having to be induced.

I'm due 3rd Feb so very similar!
Told last week baby is 2/5 palpable (so 3/5 engaged I think?) but have been feeling a lot more pressure last few days so not sure if he's even further now!

Getting pretty uncomfortable and full on waddling now. Though weirdly I've got it in my head I'm having baby in Feb so I want him to wait a week and a half to be in the right month. Might have changed my mind in a few days time...

@Fozboz @iaelti yes I’m be same ladies. Have in my head it is a February baby so want it to hang on in there until 1st at least!

I’m 38 weeks today. I’ll keep bouncing away. Planning on doing some patch cooking this week.

Home birth sounds lovley! I wanted water birth and to go to MLBU but I am higher risk of DVT due to my mother having one so am on blood thinning injections which means I have to go to delivery suite. Boo! Still hoping for a fairly natural birth though fingers crossed. An they do have one pool room there so I may get lucky!

I'm inspired by the ball - ordered one on Amazon prime which should arrive tomorrow along with some raspberry leaf tea.

The MW did have some interesting ways of speeding things up too!

It's my second. DS was born over 7 years ago so kinda forgotten what to do!

My first, a boy we've confidently been told! Do either of you know what you're having? Other half wanted to find out, I wasn't so sure, but then it was a case of look away if you don't want to know and I was too curious!

Got some Raspberry leaf tea so might be getting that out this week... I intended to do batch cooking but so far I've just ended up baking instead.

I'm booked into a MLU, hoping to use the pool! The delivery suite is just down the corridor though, we only got round to doing the hospital tour yesterday.

It is our first. And we don’t know what we’re having so will be a surprise when he/she comes out. Can’t wait to find out now! Hoping they hurry up!

I’ve been on the raspberry leaf tea! Been drinking a couple of cups a day. Who knows if it does anything. But worth a try!
