I have had 4 homebirths, each one in a different county! The only problems I had were GBS found in 2nd pg, but decided to not have ABx so after chat with supervisor of midwives was 'allowed' to go ahead, and DC3 was 11 days late, and although I was ready to go up there with the hoover there was no way I was going to be induced! One session of monitoring to prove the lazy creature was happy where he was, and a couple of sweeps later he finally took the hint! This next one will be the first time I've had 2 kids in teh same county, although I 'm tempted to jump in the car and head to my parents just for the variety :D

@TinkerBell yep, I would probably still do that but I would want to be sure I'm making the right decision by taking the monitoring/scans they normally recommend.. e.g. Placenta health etc

I considered it with DS2 after a natural delivery of DS1, midwife encouraged/supported me, she wanted to deliver DS2, DH ruled it out he wanted to know I was at hospital incase of any issues, and as things turned out, baby arrived early and lovely midwife was on hols, so it wouldn’t have happened the way we thought, but the actual delivery was fine no problems.

I was just randomly looking through my old posts and feel that I can't leave this one hanging... I am no longer 34 weeks and counting as my baby is now 10 months old! And the homebirth was amazing!!!!
