Polish your badge honey!

Typically - they are 3 minutes apart and you are nowhere to be found! Have tens machine on full whack and still pretty sore - but not getting excited yet - have had one too many practise runs!

Off to watch film on sky and rock on ball ... will keep you updated!

nuttygirl · 16/04/2007 05:41

Morning...I can't sleep...I think Octo needs to come on here and entertain me by giving birth

nuttygirl · 16/04/2007 05:45

Will try to top up my mobile tomorrow but if you text me Octo to announce birth there may not be a reply!!! Out of credit and have to figure out how to top up phone!!!

weeonion · 16/04/2007 05:53

how u feelin this morning nutty??

nuttygirl · 16/04/2007 06:00

A bit crap tbh WO...keep having abit of a cry

nuttygirl · 16/04/2007 06:01

That's why I'm up really...I've woken the baby a few times already

weeonion · 16/04/2007 06:07

oh honey... hug to you. are you sore or is it general feeling crap/ baby blues?? when did you get home - was it only yesterday??

nuttygirl · 16/04/2007 06:20

Well a bit sore (mainly my back and boobs! - think it's how I've been sitting in hospital) but also keep getting a bit upset about the birth. Think I need to kind of process what happened but it was so quick...am wondering about asking community mw about whether I can go through it with anyone (like people can at some hospitals) but worrying I'll just burst into tears on her.

nuttygirl · 16/04/2007 06:21

Oh and yes got home yesterday morning. Thank goodness...there was a baby opposite me that just cried all day & night!!! Have had about 10hrs sleep since Wednesday!

cathcart · 16/04/2007 06:26

hey octo - have been watching from afar - hope all is well for you, good luck!!

weeonion · 16/04/2007 06:27

i read yr birth story and it sounded pretty tough. as you say - it all seems to have been so quick that you probably cant take it in. still shell shocked?? have you spoken to dh about it all as well? is there anyoen there you have talked it through with yet? family/ friends?

i know that some places do offer teh chance to go over your notes and experience so maybe that would help you to go through it again. is yr comm mw coming out today?

nuttygirl · 16/04/2007 06:27

Well I'm gonna get back into bed and see if I can sleep some more. Will try not to wake DH - poor guy, he's been a real star!

nuttygirl · 16/04/2007 06:28

Sorry x-posted, have talked to DH about it and he's been great. He's been up nearly all night looking after the baby so I can get some sleep!

weeonion · 16/04/2007 06:30

nutty - hope you get some sleep. xoxoxooxxoxo

octo - guess either the tens has worked, the contractions have got stronger or you're off bouncing on that ball???

lulumama · 17/04/2007 07:41
