Channel 4 is making a documentary about maternity care in Britain. The programme will look at the pressures on maternity units in the light of claims by the Royal College of Midwives that the NHS needs a further 10,000 midwives, and explore how shortages impact on the patient experience. We?d like to talk to women who are due to give birth in April and May this year and have concerns about the how the shortages will impact on them and their families. Initially, we are keen to have an off-the-record chat with women, which will be treated in confidence, with no commitment necessary. If you think you can help, please email [email protected] as soon as possible.

EveLucas, you need to put this into Media/non-member requests (there is a small charge)

Bundle, thanks for your message. I did post my message in the Media section (and paid a fee) about a week ago. It was under the title 'maternity care documentary'. I didn't receive any response and was hoping it would get more attention here. Hope that's okay. Let me know if now.
